SAYAMA MATCHA

In Sayama, there is a factory called Asuka, which is made up of several volunteers of tea gardens. It is Kanto's first full-scale matcha factory with a Tencha furnace and has been in operation since May 2006.

Masahiro Okutomi, a young master of Okutomien, who has been a member of Asuka since the beginning, has also actively participated in overseas Japanese tea  competitions. He   got the first prize of Cest bon le JaPon! 2018 and also won a gold medal in the Great Green Tea 2013 contest in the UK.

Sayama Matcha is characterized by a beautiful green color and a powerful, rich flavor.
